Donate Your Computers

Retailers, like most businesses have computer systems all the time that are coming off warranty or come to end of life.  More often than not, the companies must pay $8-10 per computer or monitor or printer to have them disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. 

But did you know your old computers can create jobs for physically and mentally handicapped kids? 

RetailROI has partnered with The Gear Foundation (a 501c3 charity) on a program where retailers can donate their old equipment, and the Gear Foundation staff wipes all the data, refurbishes the systems and then resells them as a business for parts or entry systems.  For you as a retailer,  rather than paying to dispose of your old equipment, you get a tax deduction.  And better yet, you provide jobs for vulnerable children and young adults.
