The Return No Spreadsheet
Can Capture

“This was the last time we were going to try.”

Domercindo had been praying a long time for help for his eight-year-old son, Evans. In rural Guatemala, too many children with disabilities spend childhood on the floor, tied to chairs, even hidden in back rooms. David Castaneda, Reclaim’s Director of Transformational Community Development: Latin America, says many families “have been pushed aside” because of their child’s disability.

A $15,000 RetailROI grant changed that for 25 families, and every dollar multiplied: first on a local factory floor, then into a return on impact no spreadsheet can capture.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE LATEST RETAILROI VISION TRIP

We're excited to share that 15 children are now mobile for the first time!

A RetailROI team just returned from an IDEAS vision trip to serve in their programs in Guatemala. They provided 15 custom-fit wheelchairs to impoverished and indigenous children with physical disabilities. These wheelchairs transform the entire lives of the children, their families, and their communities.

Fifteen children are now free from a life of exclusion and from confinement to a bed or a floor, and are now able to attend school, play with their friends, engage in their communities, and experience the fullness of their dignity.

Thank you to all who went and for your support of RetailROI! Because of your support, the entire trajectory of the lives of these children have been forever changed!
